Assembling aeration and scour air service piping can be a chal- lenge. Long runs and big temperature changes require a flexible coupling solution. From 8" – 84", STRAUB-AIRFLEX is the easiest and most cost effective way to solve the problem.
STRAUB AIR-FLEX: HOW IT WORKS
STRAUB AIR-FLEX is a connector and compensator in one.
The integrated T- profile prevents the pipe coupling from moving away from the pipe gap.
The pipe ends push either on the left or right side against the T-profile, holding the pipe coupling into the right position to cover the pipe gap. This will allow up to 1" (25.4mm) axially movement of the pipe.
